What works today

Payments from Stripe, Shopify and PayPal each become a numbered invoice from Your Company Ltd. The buyer types in their company name, address and VAT ID, and the invoice is ready as a PDF and as the e-invoice file for the buyer’s country.

Stop answering invoice emails.

It’s a beautiful morning. The smell of fresh coffee fills up the room. It’s the perfect setup to get some work done. You feel energized, like you can tackle ANYTHING today.

You open your laptop and there it is, looking at you from your inbox. It reads: “Please send invoice?” An email from a random German customer who bought something from you months ago. It’s the end of their quarter and they’re collecting invoices for every 2,36 EUR purchase they’ve ever made.

You think about procrastinating it, but you know follow-up emails will keep piling up in your inbox, so you decide to eat the frog: kill your productivity and spend the next 30 minutes making an invoice by hand for a random GmbH you’ll never hear about again.

Sounds familiar? Yeah, we’ve been there too. Lucky for you, you’re now three clicks away from forgetting about this forever.

How it works

Issue a PDF invoice automatically with every purchase

Set it up once. After that, every payment gets its invoice by itself.

  1. 1

    Connect your checkout

Connect Stripe, Shopify or PayPal in a minute, or send a CSV or a webhook from any checkout. Past payments come in too.

    • PayPal Planned
    • CSV
    • Webhook
  2. 2

    Every payment becomes an invoice

A numbered invoice in your company’s name, the moment the payment succeeds. Each company has its own number sequence. A refund becomes a credit note.

  3. 3

    Buyers help themselves

Put your InvoiceCow link on the receipt. Buyers add their company name, address and VAT ID, and download the invoice. Today, or at the end of the quarter.

Sound familiar?

Selling online is easy. The invoices are not.

“Can you send us an invoice with our company name and VAT ID?”

After every sale, the same email. You copy the details into a template, export a PDF and reply. Then the next one comes in.

0.4% per invoice. 12 cents on every $29 sale.

Stripe charges 0.4% of the payment for each post-payment invoice, up to $2. InvoiceCow charges nothing per invoice.

For your buyers

Your buyers add their own VAT ID. After they pay.

Business buyers need their company on the invoice for their accountant. They get your link, fill in a short form and download the invoice. You never see the email.

A link, no account
Buyers enter the email they paid with and get a one-time sign-in link. Every purchase from you is in one list.
VAT IDs checked
EU VAT IDs are checked against VIES. The result and its date stay with the invoice.
Changes at any time
Until the invoice is first downloaded or sent, it updates in place. After that, InvoiceCow issues a credit note and a corrected invoice by itself.
In their language
Buyers pick English, Spanish, German or French for their invoice.

Formats Planned

One invoice. The format each country asks for.

Every invoice comes as a PDF and as the e-invoice file your buyer’s country asks for, made from the same data. We make the files. You send them where the law says.

InvoiceCow never calculates tax. Each invoice shows the tax your processor charged.

Dashboard

Payments and Invoices. All of them, in one place.

Every payment and every invoice, from every processor and every product.

  • Tagged by product, by processor and by company, so you find any invoice in seconds.
  • A “Not yet invoiced” list, sorted by days to the deadline, for payments that still miss buyer data.
  • Refunds become credit notes, linked to their invoice.
  • Several companies in one account, each with its own legal name, number sequence and buyer page.
  • A ZIP of PDFs and a CSV per company and period, for your accountant.

On Paddle, Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy? Planned

Those platforms are the seller, so they issue the invoice. InvoiceCow imports their invoices next to your own and never sends a second one.
